Wharfedale 47 vs. Huddersfield YMCA 7
Wharfedale, apprehensive after their

out with great attitude and vitality. The Greens took advantage of an early
off-side penalty to kick deep into the opposition's territory, and Jed Brewis
stormed through to score the opening try. Wharfedale's pack applied relentless
pressure on YMCA and the backs closed down every attack the visitors could
muster. Three tries from James Otulakowski put Wharfedale in a commanding
lead at half time which they consolidated thereafter with three more from

by Marcus Farnworth. YMCA caught Wharfedale off guard in the dying minutes
for a consolation try and conversion.
